THE LINK TO JOIN THE LEAGUE IS AT THE BOTTOM OF THE PAGE!
If you thought you wanted to bowl this summer, but felt like waiting until the last minute… well, things filled up quickly. In short, all three nights of the 2-Ball Challenge are full. The Wednesday draft beer league is full. And if you’re in the market for a highly competitive league, the Tuesday Trio only has a few spots remaining.
So what are you going to do if you missed the boat on one of those leagues?
Fear not. We hear you. We see you.
Introducing: The Co-ed 9-Pin Big Bucket League
What is it? Teams of 4 bowling a 9-pin league (but you must include at least one man and one woman each week for a legal lineup).
When does it start? Well, this depends on which center you want to bowl at. The Concord version will start June 7. The St. Charles Lanes version will start on May 27.
What do you get? Besides a good time, each team will receive 1 jumbo bucket of 8 domestic beers each week with a paid-in-full envelope. (You can upgrade to premium beer for an additional charge.)
What are the league details? The league will run for 12 weeks and is 3 games per week. The cost is $15/person per week ($60/team per week). It’s also a handicapped 9-pin league. The team with the lesser team average will receive 80% of the difference of team averages in handicap. Remember, you MUST include a minimum of one man and one woman each week to avoid forfeiting.
Do I have to be good to join? Absolutely not. This is a recreational league geared towards having a good time. Mondays suck, but they don’t have to when you’re bowling the Co-ed Big Bucket league.
